Accessibility Statement

Mechanicus Insurance Services LLC is committed to making mechanicusins.com accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe our distribution and retail partners should be able to find and use the information they need with the same ease, independence, and dignity as any other visitor.

Our commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing effort at Mechanicus. We continually review this website, our tools, and our documents so that partners who use assistive technologies — such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice recognition, and keyboard-only navigation — can complete every task the site offers, from exploring our solutions to submitting an Agency Appointment Profile.

Conformance status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological conditions. Conformance is measured against these success criteria, and we treat AA as our baseline standard for both new and existing content.

What we have done

As part of our accessibility program, we have taken the following steps across the site:

  • Structured every page with clear, logical heading levels and a consistent reading order.
  • Declared the page language so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
  • Added descriptive alternative text to meaningful images and marked decorative graphics so assistive technology can skip them.
  • Chosen color combinations that meet or exceed WCAG AA contrast ratios for text and interface elements.
  • Ensured the site can be operated with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields.
  • Paired every form field with a programmatically associated label and clear instructions on our appointment and submission forms.
  • Kept motion and background effects subtle, and avoided content that flashes or auto-plays.
  • Designed layouts that reflow and remain usable when text is enlarged or viewed on smaller screens.

Documents and downloads

We work to make downloadable materials — such as the producer kit and appointment forms — usable with assistive technology. If you receive a document from us in a format you cannot access, we will provide the information in an alternative format at no cost to you. Please contact us using the details below.

Third-party content

Some pages may rely on content, links, or services provided by third parties that are not under our direct control. While we choose our partners and vendors with accessibility in mind, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of content we do not produce. Where a third-party experience prevents you from completing a task, we will help you complete it through another channel.

Ongoing effort and limitations

Despite our best efforts to make the entire site accessible, some content may not yet be fully optimized for every assistive technology, and new content is reviewed as it is published. Accessibility is a continuous process, and we welcome feedback that helps us improve. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us — your input directly informs the fixes we prioritize.

Contact us about accessibility

If you experience any difficulty accessing part of this site, have a question, or want to request information in an alternative format, please reach out to our accessibility coordinator. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
